I watched the movie “We Bought a Zoo,” a true story directed by Cameron Crowe. Matt Damon delivered my favorite line of the film:
“You know sometimes all you need is 20 seconds of insane courage. Just literally 20 seconds of just embarrassing bravery. And I promise you, something great will come of it.”
After the last two years of living in a new reality I feel like just now I’m coming out of a cloud, a mind spell. One in which I forgot how brave I really am.
Are you feeling that too?
Hold this to heart, we never get to do this day, month or year over again. Let’s break free of the spell we’ve been under and RESET, reboot, revive and get on with living.
What that takes on a daily basis is embarrassing bravery and courage.
I know you you have that in you just like I am now re-remembering that I have it in me too.
Today, take 20 seconds to do something brave.
This was inspired by an article I wrote back in 2012 for Elephant Journal.
The concept of the why this was so motivational is the same even if the times and setting are different.
