I always feel my best when I am closest to you.

You have been my greatest teacher. I am your eternal humble student of life. Like a child, still learning, always doing my best. Thank you for your patience with my messes. You’ve taught me that from my messes come my greatest successes.

Today my practice honored you and I read aloud a favorite poem by Wendell Berry in your honor on this day of epic love with the New Moon and Earth Day combined in union.

we dance the circles of the years,
the circles of the seasons
within the circles of the years
the cycles of the MOON
within the circles of the seasons,
the circles of our reasons
within the cycles of the moon.

Again, again we come and go,
changed, changing. Hands
join, unjoin in love and fear,
greed and joy. The circles turn,
each giving into each, into all.

each by all the others hold.

Reminder that the ending is the beginning on this New Moon of manifesting our desires. Things begin, sustain and complete. The infinite circle, cycle of life.

Even this that is the NOW is impermanent.
This virus, will come, and cycle, circle through like New Moon becomes the ending of the Full Moon. Or Spring, to Summer, Fall to Winter.

In the meantime I stay grounded by getting close the ground where I know I am safe with the divine Mother offering support.
